MSIF is working with the World Health Organization to produce the Atlas of MS. This major collaboration used a survey to determine the global epidemiology of MS and the resources to diagnose, inform, treat, rehabilitate, manage, support and provide services to people with MS in different countries.
The results of the survey have already been presented on the Atlas of MS website and are now being collated into a publication to be launched at the World Congress on Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis in September 2008.
In preparation, MSIF's Peer Baneke (Chief Executive), Paul Rompani, (Deputy Chief Executive), Dhia Chandraratna (International Medical and Scientific Research Officer) and IMSB Chairman Alan Thompson recently undertook a day of filming for the promotional DVD that will accompany the launch of the publication.
The DVD will be made available to all MS societies as part of the Atlas of MS promotional kit.
