The Federación Española Esclerosis Múltiple (FELEM) held Mójate 08 on 13 July 2008, with more than 92,000 people taking part.
The campaign "Mójate by MS" was held at 875 pools and beaches across the country with participants swimming close to 62,000,000 metres as a sign of solidarity with people with MS.
FELEM's Chief Executive, Pedro Carrascal, said "Mójate 08 has been the most successful one so far, with hundreds of mentions of the event in the media, on TV programmes and in magazines. This has helped raise awareness and money for people with MS."
