"Here we are" is part of the wider project, "Impact Day", which is a day of voluntary service in order to support no-profit local organisations. This event is promoted by the international network of Deloitte, a large company offering business services.

The 2008 Impact Day involved more than 50,000 experts, in more than 50 countries, in different projects according to the local needs. The initiative "Here we are", was launched for the first time in Italy this year and involved 900 employees volunteering on different projects at 25 AISM branches, including offering advice in technology and finance, helping to delivery services such as transport and home-care, and undertaking fundraising activities. Many also took part in a course organised by the Italian MS Society about disability, multiple sclerosis and AISM services for people with MS.
