Society Aims & Objectives:

To contribute to the study of MS and related diseases, based on scientific research and knowledge.
To achieve this EMUR works closely with the Institute of Neurology, Uruguay.
EMUR aims to:
a) stimulate clinical research and medical studies into the treatment of the disease b) raise funds to assist the cost of treatment for people with MS and to carry out scientific studies c) establish links and exchange information with other patient organisations, organisations for families and caregivers and professional bodies with similar aims to those of EMUR d) advise, inform and help persons affected by MS, or similar diseases, to achieve a better quality of life e) promote the research and education of health professionals dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of MS and related diseases f) provide information on the veracity and efficiency of treatments currently available for people with MS.
